Free Fall

Watching today’s amazing accomplishment by Felix Baumgartner, jumping into space from over 127,000 thousand feet above the earth, reminds me of the immense planning that went into that event.

During every moment of his mission, Felix was totally prepared through his desire, his training, and the support of his mentor at the most difficult points.

We, too, in every challenge we face, have been prepared.

All our experiences which have led us up to this point have prepared us.

We have the desire.

We have the training.

We have the mentoring.

As long as we are actively engaged in moving toward the accomplishment, we feel that support.

When we bog down or get distracted, even for what appear to be good reasons, we are not on that direct line and cannot receive the support.

Even when we feel like we are in free fall, we still can follow through on our desire and
take the next step.

Free fall may be part of the plan, just as it was in Felix’ mission.

But then, at the right time, we need to take control and listen for the directions to bring ourselves safely home.

We each have a mission to accomplish.

That is why we are here.

We can listen to our desire, plan and follow through.
